I don't give it an arbitrary definition. I define it in terms of liberal humanism & consider societies more or less moral accordingly.

Evolution is how we became moral animals. It is not a value system. Nobody here is arguing that all conceptions of morality are equal.

In the same way, if morality was god-given, every society throughout history would have been acting according to their god-given morality.
