I once read an evo psych study which said men are more wary of men. More likely to read threat in other men's body language. Not misandryhttps://twitter.com/IonaItalia/status/925014236052340737 …

It's rational to be wary of male strangers. This is not misandry. It's normal precaution. Not sure how there's 'money' in that. https://twitter.com/francisroyca/status/925013508483354624 …

Men were more likely to over-infer sexual interest in women & hostility in men whilst women were more likely to evaluate both accurately.

And both those false positives make sense in an evolutionary context for men.

Personally, I'm far more wary of women than men, though his may be predominantly cultural, because with women I tend to focus on behaving in ways that can't possibly be construed as misogynistic, chauvinistic, or generally creepy. With men I feel far more relaxed.

Yes, that does seem cultural.. It's a culturally specific threat. In evolutionary terms, men wld have been more dangerous to your survival.

It's not a coincidence men avoid eye contact with other men and not women.

I'm much more wary of men than women. I'm more wary of black men than white men. I'm more wary of "chavs" than "suits"
