Ayaan's book contains list of quite radical reforms she'd like to make to Islam. At least, many muslims wld consider them so.

Yes, OK. These certainly impact on doctrine - eg stop regarding Muhammad as perfect - but mostly they're ethical.

I don't disagree with that and I'm not sure New Atheists do either. Quite a lot of writing about religious sectarian violence.
