Yes. But is she typical of New Atheist values generally? I think New Atheists tend to regard differences between Cath & Prot as superficial.

Sure, but I think some truth to the claim New Atheists have naive view of history which goes - Catholicism -> Reformation -> Enlightenment.

They have got more receptive to the idea lately. But Dawkins was very dismissive of Maajid Nawaz at first. Wld rather dismantle Islam.
