I don't harass women, I don't have to sort out my behavior. Do you want me to go around and say to friends that harassment and rape is bad?
These are very different things. Women may or may not like admiring comments & whistles. Sexual touching is assault.

Admiring comments is SURELY not the same as wolf whistling or catcalling. I mean, really. I am aware that some women don't mind it as much. But the first two of those are widely derided and we can definitely move towards NOT normalising that.

No. It's not. I also think we should not normalise it because the fact that some women find it alarming is enough.

Imagine for a non-sexual interaction - supposing I like Nero from a distance and Whistled at you. Would you not find it ridiculously rude?
