Sexual assault is not something all men can do better about. This seems to suggest it's something that can happen carelessly.

Carbon footprints & waistlines are examples of things many of us cld do better at reducing. Sexual assault for most of us is already at zero

I don't know if it's accurate to claim for 'most of us' though? Isn't that making a rather general claim?

You think more than a small proportion of men are sex criminals?! That it could be true to say most men commit sexual offences?!

This is a big strategic & moral question. Do we say sexual predators are rare and evil and we must all fight them? /1

Or do we communicate that all men are predators and the difference between Weinstein and most men is just a matter of degree? 2/2

You're trying to make a point about 'inherently predatory' versus 'socialised predatory'. I think that social influences are extremely pernicious currently - so while all boys are not inherently predatory - especially during teen years

It's ridiculously easy for them to cross over into the casually harassing side. Maybe without knowledge, peer pressure, etc. So it's easy. Unless there are strong countervailing influences.

'casually harassing' for teen boys sounds a lot like 'not knowing how to approach girls'

I'm sorry what??? That's THE most apologetic statement ever. Hey girls, sorry you felt harassed and scared and wanted to run home - he just didn't know how to approach you??? Why not TEACH boys how to approach or.. stay away!

There is no one right way to approach women. It is harassment if he is insulting or does not go away when asked to.

In some cultures girls are expected to be dismissive even if interested and boys are expected to keep trying when dismissed
