I think his view is consonant with Nietzsche’s, that the truth isn’t necessarily what is good for us, and may require careful packaging.
And that would be absolutely fine because at least then he'd be acknowledging that truth exists & is separate from myths.

Suppose he knows this. What position should he take to encourage his desired world? The Tree of Knowledge is not that of Life.
-
He must do what he thinks best. Those of us who think we need to hold on to objective truth to get past PoMo & post-truth will criticise it.
-
JBP's point is that 'objective truth' is a recent phenomena, not the same as saying it's arbitrarily constructed a la PoMo darlings...
-
OK, I asked you nicely several times to stop evangelising & keep your beliefs to yourself because I have had enough. It didn't work.
-
Good grief. 'Keep your beliefs to yourself'? I thought we were having a discussion. How can you say that and champion free speech?
-
Ade, please. I told you several times I had had enough & wanted to stop discussing Peterson but lets talk abt other things another time.
-
Free speech doesn't mean an individual has to listen to someone go on & on abt their beliefs when they've said they've had enough.
