I also want to understand my own need to reach some kind of resolution with such people. Why I can't just walk away. Why does it matter?

Yesterday one of my followers created a whole thread to tell me how much they hated following me. I'm not joking. I suggested that they stop following me, but they wouldn't, they just continued to tell me how much I was wasting their time. Comprehension is futile.
