Hmm. Someone is saying that my essays are too academic & difficult to understand. I did not think they were. I define theoretical terms. 1/3

When addressing PoMo & critical theory, I try to break down central concepts & show the problems for ppl who haven't/don't want to read it.

But I am not the best judge of whether I succeed at this. Do you find my pieces easy to follow without a background in 'theory?'

Wondering if any incomprehension (depending on the reader, oc) may be more about ppl going into your pieces already against them?

Maybe. This person said I was too kind to intersectionality tho so might be against critical theory rather than my take.

Curious. Sounds like they might need to make THEIR case more clear.

Maybe a difference in english being a first, second or third language? Your followers might also read more of your work b/c they understand.

When it comes to a lot of such theory it's tantamount to making English as it is commonly understood at least a second language.

Yes. But even then, it might be harder for a average Joe with english as a 2nd language. He might still be interested in the subject.

But I can understand it can be a little overwhelming. I often have to explain it. Helen has a lot of intelligent followers.

If you want to make it easier to follow, you could always add more analogies.

I think they are remarkbly clear. But you do write about some complex topics. Esp postmodernism can be confusing (perhaps intentionally)
