The concept of "post colonialism" is in fact a "colonialist" concept.

Be nice to see a polish of this essay w/o the heavy academic prose. Important to stress intersectional theory's conflict w/ shared humanity.
-
I don't think there is heavy academic prose! I can't talk abt postcolonialism & orientalism without naming them but I did explain them.
-
Intersectional theory is designed to be shielded from the layman's blunt empiricism so I'd like to see a more colloquial deconstruction.
-
Slippery slope. That quickly becomes "You SJW's are all Cucks!" I hate those types more than SJW's.
-
Also, the people Helen is appealing to is other academics. That's who has to be deconverted. Not Joe average.
-
Not really. I'm trying to make complicated and obscure theory accessible to ppl without the background or inclination to read it.
-
I hear you. I just don't think you have to dumb it down.

The orientalist anti-colonial thesis overlooks the historical embroilments between the West & East. Both spheres expand into each other.
-
You could write one from that angle? I'd be interested to read it.
-
I didn't say that. My petit bourgeois economic life doesn't afford me the intellectual space for that level of focused & developed thought.
