OK, but is this supported. In some cultures, it is much more acceptable for men to cry & show strong emotion. Is there less violence there?
Also evidence that men do better overcoming mental health problems when presented in terms of honing strengths & abilities.

There is nothing wrong with gender differences. Men are not broken for less prone to emotional expression & displays of weakness.

The individual man might find it a problem & then he must be able to defy this expectation and be supported. Men don't all have to.

The socialisation thing is the one that needs to be proven. Presenting as strong & presenting as vulnerable has different effects for M & W

in relation to their survival in evolutionary terms. As does different levels of hormones as transitioning trans men & women tell us.

Hormones absolutely play a role. Conditioning plays a role in managing what one does with the impulses those hormones create.
