I would say it in part involves not teaching boys how to deal w/ vulnerability. Some men deny or lash out, need the strength to handle it.
There is evidence that men cry less easily than women coz of tear duct differences & that they find talking therapy less helpful generally.

That women are more drawn to social interaction & to finding psychology interesting. And that they find emotionally weak men less attractive

Also evidence that men do better overcoming mental health problems when presented in terms of honing strengths & abilities.

There is nothing wrong with gender differences. Men are not broken for less prone to emotional expression & displays of weakness.

The individual man might find it a problem & then he must be able to defy this expectation and be supported. Men don't all have to.

Gender comparison studies also almost always find marginal differences in a population which are later talked about as near absolutes.
