I think intersectionality was bound to go this way coz centred in elevating group identity above universal human rights & individuality.

And adopted PoMo cultural constructivist views of gender & race & then focused on privilege clustering round certain groups.

I agree that diversity of opinion is important & to be respected; that's part of how I understand intersectionality, not opposed to it.
