This is cobblers. The author misunderstands the term; it's about her annoyance with individual self-described intersectional feminists.

In the same way, I agree with feminism's core aim but not the way the movement has developed & how it conducts itself.

I think intersectionality was bound to go this way coz centred in elevating group identity above universal human rights & individuality.

And adopted PoMo cultural constructivist views of gender & race & then focused on privilege clustering round certain groups.

Having this essentially Foucauldian view of society in which individuals are constructed by group ID & defined by their place in society

I agree that diversity of opinion is important & to be respected; that's part of how I understand intersectionality, not opposed to it.

That's great & if intersectionals worked this way generally, I'd not be writing things like this.

I'm not chief cat-herder for whole of intersectionality, but intersectionality helps me understand that it includes diverse opinions too!
