All the things I wish I cld dedicate my life to can be found within the humanities or social science (with a couple for rescuing dogs)

I'd probably also have children in some of them & be willing to die for them but I wouldn't choose a life centred around motherhood.

Assuming I have the same psychological & intellectual needs I have now. I think we must trust ppl to know what they want in life.

Or even if we can't, that they're the only person who can know & saying 'You'll regret not having kids/a career!' is unlikely to help.

Yes - there are limits. I wouldn't regret not taking a path there was zero chance I'd ever take; nor a path that clearly went over a cliff.
