So, the criticism isn't that your arguments are bad or untrue. But it's about who you might be & if it might make activists look bad? Well..pic.twitter.com/Pgpp3VPc60

One valid criticism is we could have spent more time on gender dysphoria resolving & limitations of studies & diff between pre& post puberty

Hm. I thought you did talk about the lack of (large sample) studies and the need for more.

Not in relation to dysphoria. Will do if I write about it again. Very contentious. Much disagreement by 'objective' people.

I must have read this wrong. I assumed it to be about transgender research in general. Because there really should be more.

So their critique is that part should have been more clear?

It's that it feeds into 'the desistance myth' which misrepresents a lot of things to claim, essentially, that it's a fad.

Given the existence of that, it would have been better to give more info specifically with it in mind.

Had to look that up. Yes. This would have been good to touch on. Can you add on? Or follow up?

I'll ask Malhar about a post-edit if any more people see this bit as feeding into that. At the moment, it's two. Most people get it.

As did I. I still think it's an honest, great and respectful piece.
