Which is not true. Most who explicitly say they are trans always do. Lots confusion with yng kids & those questioning gender/sexuality.

It's that it feeds into 'the desistance myth' which misrepresents a lot of things to claim, essentially, that it's a fad.
Given the existence of that, it would have been better to give more info specifically with it in mind.
