I have some sympathy with the feminists who want to free us all from gender norms but I think they are doomed to failure for two reasons.

1) So much of them are innate. 2) People like them & no amount of telling them they shouldn't will change that.

1) It's hard to gage what is and isn't innate regarding gender/gender roles, non of us have been brought up in a vacuum free from influence.

As do men who go down a route more traditionally female (stay at home dads/male nurses etc) due to how women's rolls are looked down on.

I'm not sure whether they're looked down on or seen as too nurturing for men which is then received as less attractive by women.

Seems to predate our humanity, at least. The different things we find attractive in each other.
