And the people who are aware & are actively working on these things, what're they?

In fact I find it a particularly big problem & have said so a lot.pic.twitter.com/3erwERSKek

He's a scientist with a long list of highly cited published scientific articles. You think he rejects science? U need to watch his lectures
-
He's being quote mined by people who thinks he's some sky-daddy god believing bible thumper. What harm would reading his book do you?
-
I'm not making that claim. I'm repeating the one he makes & his admirers make to me over & over again about truth being pragmatic.
-
Most recently, he's defended this position to Sam Harris and Joe Rogan. I disagree with it for reasons I've given. It's OK to disagree tho!
-
I will read his book tho. I was hoping he'd written something long because I find his lectures hard to take.
-
It took me eight months to read. I'm not the fastest reader but it so dense that I couldn't manage more than twenty pages a day. Enjoy it!
-
Jesus. It's expensive.

Honestly, if you'd read his book or watched entire lecture series you'd realize that's a silly (not to mention false) thing to say.
-
He doesn't deny this. This is what sceptics keep talking to him about and what he keeps justifying. True = what works to make us thrive.
-
I give up. U clearly know more about his position than me, despite my having watched his lecture series multiple times and read his book.
-
And does he say in any of them that truth is not pragmatic but based on evidence? If so, why does he & admirers keep defending opposite?
-
This probably isn't a conversation for twitter. I understand that the way he talks about truth can be hijacked for particular purposes.
-
Perhaps we could have a short skype chat about it some time, because I think there's a lot of confusion on all sides re Peterson.
-
Or you can just show me where he says the opposite of this which he;s defended many times since & which his admirers explain to me a lot.pic.twitter.com/WbudKhNTG2
-
They usually say he's talking about truth in a different sense and explain about the power of narratives for establishing this kind of truth
