I suspected this could happen since you mentioned quantative data & statistics. So I jumped at it
I think it wld drive them mad. I'm having to group responses into broadly similar categories & can't avoid a subjective/interpretive element

eg, putting ppl who say 'I find intersec too radical' with ppl who say 'I think intersec is going too far' but do they mean the same thing?
-
Same with & ppl who say ' I advocate equal opportunities, not equal outcome' with ppl who say 'I favour meritocracy not affirmative action.'
-
Some of it is simpler 'I'm not allowed to criticise Islam' but some of it harder coz ppl can be vague and waffly.

Is this a poll you are designing or are you just analysing data?
-
Its a survey I sent out. Trying to group the responses to open questions like 'What are your main differences with intersectionality?'
-
Cool. Will it be a representative survey? As in a scientific poll?
-
Looks very interesting. Is this for an upcoming article?

Self-reported survey responses never going to be statistically significant anyway I guess.
