Marginalise by ignoring is a fair method for people exhausted by arguing for their right to exist as they are. They aren't wrong to do that.

Well, banning is forcing everyone else to ignore when some people would like to counter the bad ideas. Muting is ignoring.

Private forums must be able to make their own rules, obviously, but that is a separate issue.

It feels related issue because no such thing as public forum. All owned by pvt businesses really. So no gen public owned online space
