I keep looking for evidence that 'society' discourages girls from STEM & tells them it's not for them. Nothing yet. I'll keep you posted.

My daughter has pursued STEM at A-level. In a co-ed school the girls were targeted for special, girl only visits to STEM workplaces.

Boys still greatly outnumber girls in her A-level classes. Especially computer science.

Yeah. I support aims to get girls more interested but I do wonder how much good they'll do.
