Are we talking about school, or society in general? Seems there is societal evidence. Can't comment on a particular school.

Society in general. I have seen no evidence of boys being encouraged more than girls. In fact, lots of pressure to get more girls interested

More recently, maybe, but in general society assumes much about the sexes and makes choices accordingly (sexism).

That's claimed but never substantiated. Since having access to everything women have dominated healthcare, teaching, publishing psychology

If a child is dressed in pink, and as a consequence pushed towards dolls, even though 'she' is a boy... that's not society making choices?

Try to get a child to play with toys they don't want to & ignore the ones they do. The other apes also have gender prefs re dolls & trucks.

Can you get a child to play with unfamiliar toys once they've been conditioned to play with certain toys (boys/girls)?

Show evidence of the conditioning. Kids do their own things with toys & have access to all kinds.

See the Norwegian Gender Paradox - pre-verbal babies still have typically gendered interests in toys.

Hypothesis: children are given sex-appropriate toys. Become familiar with certain toy types. Choose familiar toys even when given a choice.

Prove it. This keeps getting claimed with zero evidence. Meanwhile evidence of gender differences in interests mounts up and up.
