Yes, I believe there are better and worse answers. I just don't believe these are objectively true coz the universe doesn't care about us

The universe doesn't care about much of anything... Evolution doesn't care about truth, only heuristic approximations that are good enough.

We ought to value truth because it is true, not because it is beautiful or useful, though it is often both these things too!

Well, yes. I really do believe humanism is best for humanity. Someone else really does believe Sharia is.

Humanism probably is best for humanity, but Sharia is objectively wrong (as evidenced by all the subjective suffering it causes.)
