don't think he does, he describes moral phenomena & trying to explain entrenched polarization, then suggests flexibility in certainties

we do build on previous knowledge & need outside checking of premises, as a society we need sense of shared common values for it to work.

even here, he's describing, i think. also explains how non liberal shared values can work for a cohesive society with a common identity
