I'm not arguing abt that. Tedious & much more complex. OK, in future I'll recommend rape victims don't try to recover but give up on life.

This is a vile thread. Women who have been assaulted by men have every right to expect a small # of specific areas to be "male free".

Not at the expense of providing same service for men. Same principle with someone who has been assaulted by a black person. Work past it.

In your world a rape victim couldn't ask for a male gyn, she'd have to "work past it"?

No. That would be an accommodation. However, she should still try to work past it. Coz the alternative is not trying to recover & that's bad

I think it is reasonable to have sex differentiated bathrooms and locker rooms. No one is saying that men have to clear a 3 mi radius.

OK. Although it gets complicated when it comes to bathrooms coz passing trans women don't cause alarm but passing trans men do.

I was thinking that women inclined to be afraid of men would be afraid of this person tho born with vagina.pic.twitter.com/OujE0WmwQi

Whilst not being afraid of this person tho born with penis. It becomes about 'passing' in practice if we want to accommodate fear.pic.twitter.com/kBt97dLlea
