Well you don't get to decide how other people use their speech. You'll just have to get over it

In any case, this is grounds for asking for civil disagreement & going away if people choose not to engage.
-
Not telling men not to disagree with women for 24 hours even if they're really wrong & reflect on why they want to do that.
-
Here is one example. I didn't call you names. "Think about why you need to engage every time" is good advice.https://twitter.com/fawfulfan/status/907176550478618624 …

But not a gendered one. Incredibly condescending & u'd see it if it was 'Women, think about why you disagree with men.Try not to for a bit.'
-
I have actually been told that. "Maybe you should go think about why you can't get along" with a group of men who talked over me constantly.
-
I have no idea who was in the right there. If you saw it one way & everyone else another, perhaps you did need to think about this.
-
I was reading straight from the text they were arguing about. THEY couldn't even agree, but I had the rules right in front of my face.
-
Obviously, I cannot judge. It's possible for one person to be right & everyone else in the room to be wrong.
