I've had to do this countless times just to not be assaulted or murdered.

Do you really question domestic violence and how many women get beat up by their significant other daily? Someone is sheltered.

Not at all. Why would you think I did? Men commit 60% of DV, I know, & because of their strength can do more harm.

Why would I think that? You asked a woman who said she doesn't correct a man for self preservation "where the hell do you live?"

Because this is not a norm. Abusive men are a minority & there is much support to escape them. Much less for men.

Where the hell do you live? Have you any experience escaping DV or working with people involved in DV? There are few shelter beds available

There may never be enough support but there is much more than there is for men.

Not saying there is enough help for men, but there is support there also. I work with it, trust me, I see it every day. And DV is more

Than you think. We only have stats on reported DV. Happens much more then it's reported, much like sexual assault.

But it's men who underreport more, isn't it?

It's unclear who underreports it most of gender. It is clear that both genders underreport, and LGBTQ people the most underreported.

What we do know from talking to those who are afraid to report is often they feel it won't be taken seriously so they have nothing to gain
