I have to say I'm still kind of torn on the whole issue, because it cuts both ways. I think it's absolutely a dick move for the LGBT folks..

If we don't have a broad consensus, like a 51-49 split (where the US is now) one side shoves it down the other's throats.

That would be positions that ppl must have abortions & same sex marriages or they must not.

In reality, the positions are that they must not or that they have the right to decide.

There is no consensus on abortion. Feinstein is playing politics casting this nominee as some religious zealot.

It appears she's a conservative catholic, which means personally she's against both for sure, but don't know if she'd overturn roe.

That's what matters. I recently defended LibDem leader's right to have conservative religious views providing his politics were liberal.
