There is no problem when they do this. If they say, for example, that many ppl perceive no gender differences but they do actually exist.

I am in the middle of a big study right now using women in academia who have written to me & hundreds more that I have reached by survey.

People tend to write to me & say they are unable to express their views on campus & many of these are about science & evidence.
