Reading my mind? You don't seem to have read my essay. It cites Detmer, Sokal & Bricmont & Butler coz I'd not read Hicks at that point.
Yes. I wish I had. There are some good quotes in the first 2 chapters. Are we making very similar arguments?

Do you just mean that we make the same criticisms and cite the same culprits and critics of them? This is extremely likely.
-
But unlikely we make same argument coz he seems to be a fan of Peterson & I find him as much of a problem as the PoMos for similar reasons

Appreciated & accepted. It cld just be that we see the same problems with science-denial, intense sensitivity to language &identity politics
-
That is the basis of my criticism. You will see that Detmer, Sokal & Bricmont & Butler also make these criticisms.
-
They are valuable coz Butler attempts a neutral overview, Detmer looks at it philosophically & S&B scientifically.
-
If Hicks looks at it politically from right (does he?) & if he,like Peterson, regards PoMo as expansion of Marxism (does he?) we won't agree
