No, I don't think. Tho 'mind' is very vague. The evidence of evolution of the brain is immense & supported from many different angles.

i don't dispute that the brain evolved
-
And what is the mind/brain relationship to you?
-
the mind is not physical
-
The state of the brain has an impact on the mind or not all?
-
it does
-
So we could agree that the mind is consequence of the brain's activity?
-
the brain is a necessary condition for mentality
-
Alright so we can then agree that there are specific module/structure which evolved to treat sensory inputs, from eyes, ears, etc?

“no” you don’t think its a just-so story if there’s no evidence independent of the data the hypothesis was constructed to explain?
-
What would that look like? Evidence the brain evolved to give us cog abilities & psych traits outside of the fact that we have evolved them?
-
i don't know what it would look like - i don't think there can be independent evidence
-
Right. So I think we need to go with what we have.
-
we don’t need to posit adaptations to explain differences in cognitive abilities and psychological traits
