53% of UK population now non-religious, 73% of 18-24 yr-olds. http://bit.ly/2gDlXDh Good news. Wish it applied to those of Muslim origin.

I can define religion in so many ways. My issue isn't with atheism but the pursuit of atheists to disparage the major religions.
-
OK, so when you asked 'isn't atheism itself a form of religion' what did you mean? What argument wld you make that it is?
-
Because Atheism is fast becoming a movement just as in the early days of xtianity. All it needs now is the numbers
-
Nah. Atheists don't share the same values. Some favour science & rationalism. Biggest movement is anti-science SocJus version.
-
But that's the point isn't it. Atheism isn't just a loose band of people trying to find their way in the dark. They are an organised bunch
-
They're not tho. That's the point. What do the SocJus people have in common with the rationalists?
-
Most don't even care about my religion. My atheist parents are positive about it. My husband is indifferent.
-
But even if they were an organised group, would there be some reason that organised religion is OK but organised atheism is bad?

If so, it fits. If not, its hard to see how it could because atheism really is only that.

Atheism is becoming a movement, and if I may say so
@RichardDawkins is its pope. -
I wrote this about the pro-movement approach and the anti-movement approach. I support the latter. http://helenpluckroseblogs.blogspot.co.uk/2016/12/the-conflicting-approaches-of-david.html …
