On the grounds of not having religious symbols added to uniform. Schools are not places of worship. They have uniforms.

It can be. I saw that girls were banned from wearing floor length skirts. But religious ppl need to follow same rules as everyone else.

Against long skirts, yes. Cld be a good reason - health & safety - but I don't think it was. I remember not approving.
