That hasn't worked out well for Muslims in the past. I'm calling for religious freedom which doesn't include valorising 5 yr olds in hijabs.https://twitter.com/Zaf1239/status/904436554764087297 …
I know what I mean, thanks. Yes, schools have the right to say no to religious symbols being added to uniforms. But in this case...

...an additional concern is gender-specific modesty codes being imposed on children too young to understand sexuality.
-
Last time I checked boys and girls uniform is always different due to there parents idea of what gender they fall into and schools
-
We're talking about modesty codes.
-
Boys and girls must have the right to wear the same uniform & I made sure of this at my daughter's primary school but not the issue here.

On what grounds on turbans hijab sand crosses
-
Schools have the right to say no to religious (or any) symbols being added to uniforms.
-
As I said on what grounds otherwise it's an easy case of discrimination
-
On the grounds of not having religious symbols added to uniform. Schools are not places of worship. They have uniforms.
-
So no turbans crosses and hijabs because they are symbols of worship?????
-
Yes, schools can keep ideological symbols out of schools and require everyone to wear the same uniform.
