Wearing a hat/cap in the summer! It's the same principles for Hijaabi's. So if they can wear hat, then they should be OK with Hijaab.

It's not a privilege for them. It's their way of life, their standard day to day (part of) clothing. Part of their belief, their identity.
And so are many non-religious ideas. So why should religious ones get preferential treatment?
