      But he was fired for saying that gender differences exist which was viewed as sexist which is a feminist position, not an alt-right one.

      The alt-right has equally wrong views on gender and much less positive motives for making them. A look at the science refutes both.

      That's the point. James Damore had the much less positive motives & deliberately misrepresented science to make his viewpoint less sexist.

      I don't claim to know his motives but liked his view that we treat people as individuals, not genders, & suggestions to draw more women in.

      I don't know what James Damore's politics are. I might well disagree with them. He might even be sexist. But the memo wasn't.I agree with it
