Woman should stay at home to look after their kids instead of fobing them off to a stranger. Well done to feminism for ruining that option
I can't find that we disagree on anything. But Charles is asserting that feminism prevents women from doing this. Unclear how.

-
I think feminist theory is trying to socially engineer society away from that option though.
-
Feminists who subscribe to it try to make it socially unacceptable to be a stay at home mom. Arg is that it's debasing and servitude to men
-
That was an old radfem thing. Intersectionals don't care about it & they have dominated for some time now.
-
Dunno if the author is a radfem or intersectional, but seems recent enough to outright call it outdatedhttp://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/03/22/columnist-it-should-be-illegal-to-be-a-stay-at-home-mom/ …
-
It isn't an intersectional argument. Also not very common. That zeitgeist has passed. Women working is mainstream now.
-
It is. Being a stay at home mom also is. But some don't like it and are trying to make it socially inadequate, even today.
-
As a disclaimer, I'm of your opinion that to each, it's own.
-
Also, stay at home moms who don't work is pretty much an impossibility in lower and middle class around here

Perhaps he's read a "feminist" article debasing women who work as caretakers. There are lots of those out there & they are offensive.
-
Stop twisting things around. Manipulations wont work
-
Then explain what it was specifically that feminists did which made people take advantage of new opportunities?
-
Way off the point. Try again
-
I've given up. If you were going to provide evidence or a reasoned argument, you would have done so by now.
-
Ok say your manipulations didnt work. Im saying if u increase houshold income u put upward pressure on cost of living.
-
No-one is arguing with that. We're asking how it's feminism's fault. Go away now. You're clearly not going to explain. #1#4#5 #7 #8pic.twitter.com/K79I4qjVDi

No u are twistimg things around again. Mums no longer have the option to stay at home which is a side effect if feminism. Feminism stop it
-
What I'm telling is that is untrue the option is still available
-
Yeah i agree, but its becoming less and less of an option. Out of everyone i know, my wife is the only stay at home mum. They cant afford it
-
But the cost of living isn't determined by religious feminists it's by the market and skill gap that's the problem
-
What are u talking about. If u increase household income u increase the cost of living. It creates upward pressure
-
What I'm saying is not that we devalue skill based work it lowers the incomes many people... It's not feminists who did that
-
Thats a different topic. There are different factors but i think feminism can take a share of the blame for raising the cost of living
-
I would say more of the far left politics which includes feminists but out right say this sub group is wrong
