@GodDoesnt @HPluckrose I enjoyed & generally agree with your Manifesto. One quibble: Hayek was neither a premodernist not anti-rationalist.

Thank you! He was critical of rationalism in the form of expertise & forward planning & did see modernity as leading back to serfdom 1/2

Critical of central planning =/= critical of rationalism. For him, insufficient knowledge was planning's weak link.

He does refer to that as rationalism tho & yes, he argues that we can never have enough knowledge to plan ahead & ensure stability.

However, I avoid discussing Hayek on Twitter as it brings forth the loons who go on & on about knowledge & reason as elitist & false.
