It assumes ppl who oppose banning awful ideas don't accept that they're awful rather than that they want them exposed & countered.
Believing ppl have the right to air horrible views leads to fascism but thinking they don't, doesn't?!

I just co-wrote a manifesto arguing this. Banning ideas cant marginalise as well as addressing them.

Banning is essentially making ppl pretend a problem doesn't exist. Crap way of fixing it.
