I don't support punishing ppl for awful ideas. In many places, atheism has been widely accepted as one.

He shouldn't be arrested but he sre as hell should be shunned by anyone with a conscious.
-
Yes, I'd be happy with that. I'd not be friends with him.
-
Why should I have to allow such an evil person represent me and my company?? That's insane! Free speech doesn't mean no consequences.
-
You don't have to. You can reject the principle of free speech & choose which ideas employees may express in their own time.

Mob pressure? As an employer I need no pressure to fire someone so disgusting from my employment. It's the right moral & business decision.
-
I wouldn't. I want to be able to express views others find appalling so must tolerate ppl expressing ones I do.
-
I have Trump suppoters that work for me. That is tolerating different views. Cheering people being butchered is NOT just a different view.

I tolerate it in society by supporting free speech laws. No way I'm going to let such a person represent me or my company.

He was on his own time. He wasn't representing you or your company.
