I tend not to get into deep debate about what makes someone a woman. General liberal principles cover my position on this.
It matters in practical terms, yes. To a certain extent but even then it gets complicated coz trans people exist.

Well, that's what I mean. Here 'bathroom' means 'room with bath or shower in it.'

I refer to 1) public toilets and 2) changing rooms with showers. Those are the two main arenas in question.

Yes, either way, whether or not women are alarmed by an individual in one comes down to what sex they look like more than anything.

Already seen two accounts of cis women with masculine features being thrown out of women's bathrooms. One with trousers round ankles.
