But more often it's women & this makes me sad coz tho I am, above all, a humanist, I do like a sense of 'sisterhood.'

There's something special abt female friendship & mutual support & I'm very lucky to have this in life. In feminism, it seems to have died.

Because a sister is not, in my view, someone who shares all your politics & is compelled to signal them in exactly the right way frequently.

It's someone who feels a bond with & cares generally about her fellow women. This is quite compatible with also liking & caring abt men.
