I am rabidly anti-authoritarian but I am fantasising abt re-education camps where people are taught how arguments work right now.

I realize you do. But other people are deliberate time wasters. It's a coup for them to occupy your time and frustrate your good nature.

I think most are sincere! But very very wrong! How do I learn to tolerate people being wrong? How do I stop being so baitable?

Maybe a test of sorts to weed out the most egregious time wasters and certaintists?

"Do you think there is any ground for discussion?" -or- "Do you think there is a possibility you are wrong?" If answer is no, disengage...

That's a good idea. Also rules for myself. Stop if you're repeating yourself, if you're knowingly misrepresented, if you're insulted.

You can't reason someone out of something they haven't reasoned themselves into. Apply this test to any debate and withdraw if not passed
