Corps are not democracies. They hire and fire to suit their goals not social goals. Google saw a threat and took action.

I do not support corrosive, divisive speech in the workplace - especially if I were the owner. As said, the workplace is not a democracy.

Reiterating stereotypes is unhelpful. Replace woman with black. Statistically speaking, blacks must be even worse coders since fewer.
