They didn't do anything remotely comparable. But if they did, why should they get off more lightly?

Yes. If they are offered jobs in Google they should read the Code of Conduct & say, sorry, I can't sign that - or I hate it but I'll comply.

Then its very hard to understand why you'd support the firing of someone for not adhering to a biased cultural constructivist view.

I wasn't aware that Sundar Pichai was a biased cultural constructivist. But with a Wharton MBA, maybe that's the norm.

Did he fire anyone 4 espousing culturally constructivist views of the causes of the imbalance? Saying it's discrimination or cultural norms?

If the answer is no & he only fired someone for arguing for a biological component, it's fair to say he's biased towards cultural arguments
