Still very easy not to say 'men' when its a tiny minority of men. I'm sure you see the problem when people say 'Muslims commit jihad.'

I don't think the majority of men approach women with ill-intent. I'm sure most of them have approached a woman who is not interested.
-
Ill intent is slightly subjective here. I think they don't understand how fucking annoying it is and sometimes threatening it can be.
-
They can't know if the woman will be interested or not, no. All they can do is try & be polite & non-threatening.
-
I disagree. Especially in the example given in the first tweet.
-
I also think not approaching people wearing headphones should be standard etiquette. Don't think that's gendered tho.
-
If you mean both men and women shouldn't do that I agree. I don't think many men r being approached by women if that's what you're hinting.
-
Probably not, no. I get approached by women more tho. A lot more.https://twitter.com/HPluckrose/status/896083743995187200 …

Doesn't matter that I have headphones on. They fall into step with me & I have to say 'I really enjoy walking on my own' & they take offence

they approach a woman bc they want pussy. when the woman doesn't act like shes gonna give them the pussy, then some men act belligerent
-
about 40-60% of men in MY experience. a lot of cishet men think by default they deserve a women's time, sex, and attention and they dont

Well for one I said 40%-60% and "a lot." And in my experience that's very real. Its not every man, true. But I know my own life, dude

A mix of the latter two I suppose. It's hard to explain in 140 characters I guess if you don't get the context.
