In the countries where women have the most freedom of choice, they're least likely to choose STEM cos encouraged to follow own interests.

Why isn't it? Couldn't there be a reason that women quickly dominated or shared equally in social fields but not technical ones ?

Don't assume. Go with the evidence and listen to and know your child and your pupils. Room for nature & culture to be considered.
