God knows it would be terrible for Children to be clamoring "freedom of speech" when they are disciplined for calling their mother an idiot
-
Children are irresponsible for their actions and thus do not enjoy all the rights enjoyed by adults.
-
I can kick you out of my house for anything i please.
-
No-one is trying to say private companies have the obligation to support free speech, just talking about the ethics generally.
-
I agree on the ethics of the situation, but so many screaming free speech and illegal conflate the issues, and clarification is necessary.
-
I will post it! I will!

If you come to my house I can kick you out for any reason I desire, that does not infringe on your freedom of speech, nor did you address it
-
You don't have to support freedom of speech in your own house, no. I don't or the child would talk about Pokemon all the time.
-
Nor does a company have to allow people unlimited freedom when it goes against what they may consider a core precept whether I agree or not

Freedom of Speech does not equal freedom from consequences, especially as those may relate to private entities and corporations.
-
This issue has nothing to do with Freedom of Speech and you undermine logic and conservatives by intimating that it does.

At most it just shows the truly divisive culture that Google runs, but this is a slippery slope in shouting Freedom of Speech.
-
It shows that there is no freedom if speech at Google. Other companies may be different.
-
Google is not required to offer Freedom of Speech to their employees.
-
No, it's not. But it claims to and so can be criticised. We might consider using other providers coz we dislike its role in a wider problem
-
Which is entirely our right, although unfortunately with the scope and size of Google I believe a bit late
-
Actually, unlike Facebook or Ebay which have near unsurmountable network effect advantages, Google is vulnerable.
-
It takes a fair amount of disgruntlement for people to change their habits, but google users don't need to coordinate to move elsewhere.
-
No but half the places they would move use Google ads, and storage and algorithms etc.. I hope you are correct though.
