If those who want women to have all the choices & opportunities have a role to play now, its in pointing out we already have them and...

If the people trying to pressure you into choices you don't want are your family & community, this is hard & you'll need support.

But mainstream society defends your right to choose your own path in life whether career or family focused or, most commonly, a bit of both.

Some people are telling me of truly awful experiences of being made to feel unwelcome in a job or undermined & I know this happens.

And that sometimes it happens on the basis of sex. But we do not have a society which exerts huge pressure on women to fit certain roles.

A family member of mine had a horrible work environment where she was sexually harassed & called names for not covering her head.

But this does not reflect a widescale social pressure where women are not welcome in the workplace.
